Brexit News: EU’s Barnier: Brexit talks have a narrow path to an agreement

The EU's chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier was out with some Brexit-related comments in the last hour and said that the possibility of a trade agreement with the UK remains.

The comments, however, did little to ease the intraday bearish pressure surrounding the British pound. In fact, the GBP/USD pair was last seen hovering near the lower end of its daily trading range, just above the key 1.3500 psychological mark.
