EUR/JPY hits 5-month low

The EUR/JPY sell-off extended at the beginning opf the American session, with the pair falling to fresh 5-month lows as the yen continues to strengthen amid risk aversion and falling stocks.

GBP/USD holds pretty well above 1.7100 - FXStreet

As FXStreet Chief Analyst Valeria Bednarik notes, GBP USD fell somewhat after the release of worse than expected UK trade balance numbers but holds pretty well above 1.7100 despite dollar intraday strength.
