NZD/USD rises further above 0.8700

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD recently printed a fresh daily high 0.8740 reaching the highest price since Monday. During the Asian session the pair bottomed at 0.8660, a 1-week low but then bounced to the upside, rising above 0.8700 on European hours.

After the release of GDP data for the first quarter in the US, the NZD/USD soared above 0.8700 to 0.8730 and after Wall Street opening bell extended the rally.

In a few hours the NZD/USD erased previous losses and approached Monday’s high that lie at 0.8747; if it breaks above the pair would be trading at the levels not seen since June 5.
