New Zealand retail sales surged 1.5%

The Statistics New Zealand reported quarterly details of fourth quarter 2018 retail sales on early Monday. The institute reported a 1.5% quarter on quarter growth of retail sales during the last quarter of 2018 over 0.0% growth registered during the third quarter of the last-year. The retail sales ex-autos were rrported to have increased by 2.0% over the same period against 0.4% prior growth.
