RBI to raise rates by 25 basis points on Oct. 4 - Reuters Poll

Reuters polled 60 economists, of which 34 expect the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is set to raise the repo rate by 25 basis points (bps) to 6.75 percent on Oct. 4.

Further, over two-thirds of 61 economists said the RBI will raise rates at least once by year-end.

Meanwhile, Indian economy is seen growing 7.5 percent in 2018-19 and 7.6 percent in 2019-20.
