US fund investors increase China exposure - Reuters Lipper

The US fund investors increased exposure in the Chinese equities last week by most since January despite ongoing trade war.

Investors bought $572 million shares in US-based funds that invest primarily in Chinese equities, Lipper data showed, according to Reuters news. 

The increased demand for the Chinese assets may not yield a rise in the Chinese yuan (CNY) as investors may buy hedges (USD/CNY) against exchange rate risk.
