AUD/NZD falls below 1.0800

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/NZD started the week moving to the downside and is testing Friday’s lows that lie at 1.0788. Having made a daily high at 1.0823 and low at 1.0791, AUD/NZD spot is down -0.12% on the day and currently at 1.0790.

The pair started the week trading at 1.0812 but failed to hold above 1.0800 weakened by a strong Kiwi, that is rising across the board. While the NZD/USD is trading above 0.8600 at the highest price since last Thursday the AUD/USD remains below 0.9300.

Last week the AUD/NZD finished sharply higher, with a gain of more than 150 pips, rising for the third week in a row. On Friday the rally lost momentum and the Aussie pulled back.
