France wants to work with US on new nuclear deal with Iran - Macron

President Trump is currently hosting the French President Emmanuel Macron for a state visit and one issue that they will define is their agenda in Washington: the Iran nuclear deal.

The 12th of May is a supposedly final U.S. deadline Trump set himself to withdraw the U.S. from the 2015 agreement and it is quickly approaching. France, Britain and Germany have urged the president to drop his resistance and even Chin and Russia are also in favour of keeping the agreement. 

“It is essential to maintain it to avoid proliferation. In this period when we see the risks with North Korea, we must maintain this line,” French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said previously.  However, a breaking news flash says that France wants to work with US on a new nuclear deal with Iran - Macron (RT reported).
