Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 52 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6374 from 6.6322) and 34 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6408. The basket implied change is 40 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6368 from 6.6408)."
