Germany: Unemployment Rate at 6.8% in January

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Unemployment in Germany fell by 28.000 during January, following a 15.000 drop the previous month, the Bundesagentur für Arbeit informed today. Economists had forecast a 5.000 drop.

The unemployment rate remained at 6.8% against expectations of increasing to 6.9%.
