Japan’s Aso spoke on trade issues, nothing on the yen

Japanese finance minister Taro Aso crossed the wires earlier on the day, speaking on trade issue following his meeting with the US vice-president Mike Pence.

However, neither of them made comments on the US dollar or yen.

Meanwhile, Pence commented on South Korea, noting that, still there are too many barriers for US businesses under South Korea / US FTA.
