EMU: Manufacturing PMI expands further in January

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Preliminary Eurozone PMI Manufacturing rose to 53.9 points in January, from 52.7 points in December, according to data released today by Markit. Analysts expected less increase to 53.0 points.

Eurozone Services PMI edged up to 51.9 points in January, from 51.0 points in December, above market consensus of 51.4 points.

PMI Composite climbed to 53.2, from 52.1 and above expectations of a rise to 52.4.
