AUD/USD hovers at 6-month lows
AUD/USD advanced slightly during the Asian session only to surrender gains afterwards as the greenback strengthened across the board.
Minutes of the RBA latest meeting gave the Aussie a mild boost, but the pair failed to sustain gains and fell into negative ground for the day. AUD/USD pulled back from a high of 0.7261 to a fresh 6-month low of 0.7222 in recent dealings. At time of writing, the pair is trading at 0.7230, 0.16% lower and headed for its fifth straight day of losses.
AUD/USD levels to watch
In terms of technical levels, immediate supports are seen at 0.7217 (Jun 3 low), 0.7200 (psychological level/Jun 2 low) and 0.7266 (May 31 low). On the other hand, resistances could be found 0.7262 (Dec 20 high), 0.7312 (Dec 19 high) and the 0.7390/0.7400 area (10-day SMA/psychological level).
