US consumer sentiment improved before US elections - U. of Michigan
The University of Michigan reported its preliminary reading of consumer sentiment rose to 91.6 this month from October's final reading of 87.2.
Expectations were for a more modest increase to 89.5. October’s reading was among the lowest levels in the last two years.
The survey for the preliminary November reading occurred between Oct 27 and the election day. November's final reading, will be out on Nov. 23.
