BoC's Poloz: Our best plan right now, we think, is to wait for the next 18 months or so - BBG

According to Bloomberg, Bank of Canada's Governor Stephen Poloz reiterated to lawmakers in Ottawa that the central bank considered cutting interest rates at its last meeting, but a large number of uncertainties didn't allow it.

“We have to weigh the risks of waiting longer against what are the costs associated with doing something more immediate", Poloz said. “Our best plan right now, we think, is to wait for the next 18 months or so", BoC's Governor added.
