USD/JPY reaches fresh 1-month highs after ADP
USD/JPY climbed to a 1-month high at the beginning of the American session after data showed US private jobs increased in line with expectations in August.
US private sector added 177,000 new jobs in August, slightly above the 175,000 expected by analysts.
The dollar received a mild boost from data and climbed to a peak of 103.52 against the yen. The pair was last trading at 103.32, recording a 0.39% gain on the day.
USD/JPY levels to consider
In terms of technical levels, next resistances are seen at 104.00 (psychological level), 105.00 (psychological level) and 105.48 (100-day SMA). On the other hand, supports could be found at 102.68 (50-day SMA), 101.74 (Aug 30 low) and 101.15 (10-day SMA).
