“We do not expect it to ease monetary policy before the September meeting but expect a dovish rhetoric.

UK retail sales for June (due 10:30 CEST) will be the last major data release for Q2 before the first estimate of Q2 GDP growth is due to be published on Wednesday next week.

Otherwise, initial jobless claims data are due out at 14:30 CEST. Despite employment growth rebounding in June after the slowdown in the spring, we will still keep an eye on the release.”
