UK: GDP grows 0.7% in Q2, as expected

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - On a quarterly basis UK GDP increased 0.7% in Q2, up from the 0.3% rise registered the previous quarter, according to data released today by National Statistics. This result is in line with market consensus.

Year-over-year GDP rose 1.3% in Q2, slightly down from +1.5 in Q1 and below expectations of 1.5% growth.
