Greek wants deal by end-May, early June - Greek govt spokesman Sakellardis
FXStreet (Mumbai) - Greek government spokesperson Sakellardis said to reporters in Athens on Monday that Greece will strive to make all payments due and wants to reach a deal with its international creditors by end-May, early June.
He also said that Greece’s liquidity problems are “well-known”, while stating that the possibility of capital controls in Greece is very low. Sakellardis made it clear that his country is not looking at bundling IMF payments and has not asked for extension to bail out.
