US: NY Empire State index rose to 9.46 in July

FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) -The New York Federal Reserve Bank informed that the regional manufacturing sectors gauged by the Empire State index rose above expectations to 9.46 for the month of July, vs. the median at 5.00.

US: Retail Sales up 0.4% in June

The Commerce Department has informed that US retail sales have expanded 0.4% on a monthly basis during June. Ex autos, sales came in flat. Both prints missed previous estimates at 0.8% and 0.4%, respectively....

USD/JPY retreats after US retail sales
