USD/CAD falls to intra-week lows after QE3 end over the table
FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US dollar is trading lower against its Canadian counterpart as the Greenback has been hurt by the FOMC minutes and its headlines about lawmakers thinking to finish the QE3 as soon as this year.
After declining around 30 pips in just minutes, the USD/CAD fell to trade below the 1.0500 area and to reach a fresh intra-week low around 1.0470. Currently it's trading at 1.0475, 0.45% down on the day.
Short term perspective is slightly bearish according to the FXstreet.com trend index in the 15-minute chart. Indicators such as MACD, CCI and Momentum are pointing to the south while the Stochastic is neutral.
