NZD/USD year-end target at 0.69 – TDS

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - Strategists at TD Securities expects NZD/USD to trade in the 0.6900 neighbourhood by the end of the present year.

Key Quotes

“After two years of outperformance we already expected the NZD to fade, although our year-end target has been lowered from $US0.72 to $US0.69, six months earlier than previously anticipated”.

“As the RBNZ is unlikely to sanction expectations of a rate cut by mid-year, we expect the NZD to remain rather lofty at $US0.77 in the early months of this year”.

“Our year-end AUDNZD target has been lowered from 1.17 to 1.13”.
