UK: Mortgage Approvals surprise to the upside in May

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - UK Mortgage Approvals rose to 58.242K in May, from 54.354K registered the previous month, according to the BoE report published today. Analysts expected less increase to 55.050K.

Consumer Credit rose to £0.7B in May from £0.6B in April and against market consensus of remaining at £0.6B.

Net Lending to Individuals decreased in May to £1.0B in comparison with £1.4B in April and against analysts' expectations of staying unchanged.
