LME Inventory update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) today showed a rise in the inventory levels of Lead, Zinc and nickel, while the inventory levels of Copper and aluminium declined.

Lead and zinc stocks increased by 250 and 400 tonnes respectively, while aluminium stocks witnessed a massive fall of 10500 tonnes. Meanwhile, copper stocks declined by 1300 tonnes and nickel inventory went up by 1596 tonnes.

EUR/JPY rallies, breaks above 147 handle

The single climbed continued its upward momentum against the Japanese counterpart from the Asian session as the yen plunged against the greenback to reach new daily low levels, falling slightly short of 112 handle.
