GBP/CHF falls below 1.5000 to lowest since September
FXStreet (Córdoba) - GBP/CHF broke below 1.5000 for the first time in a month and bottomed at 1.4977, reaching the lowest price since September 10. Currently trades at 1.4995, down 0.63% for the day.
GBP/CHF breaking importante level
Yesterday the pair posted the first daily gain after plunging during the previous three trading days. Price rose from 1.5010 reaching levels on top of 1.5100 but if was rejected and started to decline, breaking below 1.5000 during the American session.
A consolidation below 1.5000 could weaken the pound further. It would be the lowest daily close in five months. During the previous months GBP/CHF traded below or approached the mentioned level but always rebonded. To the downside the next support level to consider could be located at 1.4970 (Oct 10 low, June 5 low).
