US: Nonfarm payrolls jump 248K in September
FXStreet (Łódź) - US NFP surprised to the upside growing by 248K in September, following the August increase revised up to 180K, according to data released today by the US Department of Labor. This result is above market consensus of 215K.
The Unemployment Rate slid to 5.9% from 6.1%, against forecasts of remaining unchanged at 6.1%.
